The RADiO REELERS got together in the early days of 2001, brought together by a love of cheap beer, hot chicks and wild rock'n'roll. Band members had previously played in the Fells, the Shrinks, the Trust Fund Babies, the Bodies and the Weird Lovemakers. Since then, the REELERS have brought the patented "Rockin' Sound" to dive bars and clubs all over the US, Europe and Canada... but we mostly play in San Francisco because we're broke and lazy. Nervous Fred Provencher liked the band so much he put out our debut single in Winter 2001 on his Zaxxon Virile Action label, home of the Kamikazes, Kidnappers and Smash Up Derby. "Radio Feelin'" got a bunch of great reviews and made nine Top Ten lists in MRR! Soon after that, Alien Snatch Records threw the REELERS' tune “Can’t Be My Baby” on the LP version of the "California Ain’t Fun No More" comp as a bonus track. In May 2003, Radio Blast Recordings released our full-length debut "Rockin' Sound" as a 45 RPM LP. Our second album "Shakin' At The Party!" came out in November 2003 on Dead Beat Records. Both albums have gotten rave reviews and made a few year-end Top Ten lists too. The "Runnin' Out" EP appeared on Radio Records in late 2004, just in time for our first tour of Europe. 2005 saw the release of the REELERS' third album, aptly titled "The Next Best Thing". ... See ya at the party!
